Sunday worship services
Worship is at the heart of the Christian life. When God redeemed the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt, he did it so that they might worship him as his people (Exodus 4:23). When Jesus spoke about the effect his life, death, and resurrection was going to have, it was that “true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth” (John 4:23). And when the apostle John saw a vision of the future, God’s final victory and renewal of the earth, he saw a vision of a vast multitude of people worshipping God together (Revelation 7:10)
The main focus of our Sunday services is to worship God together as his people. Worship is an act of recognising and valuing God for who he is. It can be done in many ways. Our worship services usually include such things as prayers of thanks or praise, personal confession to God, singing songs and hymns, reading and listening to the Bible, serving one another in love, giving gifts to God, or being taught from the Bible.
We meet at 10:30am and 6:30pm every Sunday. Anyone is welcome to join us for our worship services, whatever religious (or non-religious!) background you are coming from. You will be made welcome, and we would love for you to stick around after the service to get to know us better over a tea or coffee.
On Sunday mornings, we provide a teaching class for children during the second half of the service. Other parts of the service are also designed to help children engage in our worship together. Families are very welcome to join us
Thursdays @ 7:30pm
We also meet every Thursday at 7:30pm in the church building, for Bible study and prayer. Bible studies are more informal than the teaching delivered on Sundays, with opportunity for questions and discussion. We pray for one another in the church, as well as praying for the needs of our brothers and sisters in other parts of the North West, the UK, or the World.

Coffee Morning
We meet for coffee, tea, cakes, and chat on the first Tuesday of every month, drop in from 10.30am to 12:00pm. No need to book, and there is no cost to any of the refreshments. Come along for a chat and get to know us better!
